CRM: Deal Generators
Create and manage Deal Generators to automate sales pipeline tracking and opportunity management.
What is a Deal Generator?
A Deal functions as a tracking mechanism for revenue opportunities displayed in a visual pipeline. It moves through various stages until reaching either a Won or Lost status. A Deal Generator is a template-based Deal Card that you can activate through automation or manual processes. After setting up a Generator, simply trigger it and specify which Contact or Company should receive the generated Deal Card.
The Deals functionality enables you to establish a defined sales process and monitor important performance indicators.

How do I create a Deal Generator?
Begin by going to CRM > Deals > Generators.
Select the +Add Deal Generator option.
A dialog box will open with fields ready for your input.
Reference Title: The identifier for your Generator.
Deal title: The name assigned to Deals when created from this Generator. You may combine plain text with Dynamic Placeholders. Click the Placeholder icon to view available options.
Details: Extra notes about the Deal.
Category: Pick a Category from the available options. Set up new CRM Deal Categories in Content Categories.

Based-On Date: Determine the starting point for the date field. Options include the creation day, a Date Custom Field value, or a manually selected date.
Relative Due Date: Specify how many days from creation you anticipate closure.
Expected Value: Input a projected monetary amount for the Deal opportunity. Then select the currency type from the provided options.
Pipeline: Designate which Pipeline should contain Deals created from this Generator.
Followers - Individual: Use the dropdown to pick specific Team Members to follow the Deal.
Followers - All Staff: Include all current and future Team Members with CRM access.
You have the option to send email notifications to Followers when the Deal is created.
Configure Automations: Set up any Automations that run when the Deal advances between stages.
How do I manage Deal Generator?
You can establish multiple Generators to produce different Deal Cards for various scenarios—such as a distinct generator for each service offering. All Generators display on the Generator page.
Click the three-dot menu alongside any Generator to Edit or Delete it, or to Manage Automations.
How do I apply a Deal Generator to a Target?
You can activate Deal Generators either by selecting them directly in Unificus or incorporating them into an Automated Workflow.
Applying manually via the CRM
When adding a Target manually, you may attach a Deal Generator during the Company or Contact creation process.
If your Target is already in Unificus, open the CRM list, click the three dots, and choose your Generator from the menu.
Another option: from within the CRM Dashboard, click the + icon in the upper right corner and select Deal Generator.
Either approach lets you pick the desired Deal Generator from your list.
Applying through Automation
Trigger your Generator using an Auto-Template, any location with a ‘Configure Automation’ option, or through Form assignments.
