CRM: Deals
Track revenue opportunities through customizable pipeline stages with Unificus Deals.
What is a Deal?
A Deal represents an income opportunity that moves through your sales pipeline until it reaches a Won or Lost outcome. This feature lets you visualize your sales process and monitor important metrics at a glance.
You can view your Deals pipeline in multiple formats: List View, Card View, Stage View, and Forecast View. You’re also able to set up multiple pipelines tailored to different sales processes.
Creating a New Deal
Go to CRM > Deals and select the +Add Deal button.
A form will open where you can enter the following information:
Contact: Pick the relevant Contact from the dropdown.
Deal: Enter a name or title for the opportunity.
Details: Add any extra context or notes.
Category: Select from available categories. (You can manage CRM Deal Categories in Content Categories.)

Expected Close: Set the target date for closing this opportunity.
Expected Value: Input the potential revenue amount and select its currency.
Stage: Assign the Deal to its current pipeline stage. You can edit, delete, or create stages as needed (details below).
Followers: Choose who can access this Deal:
- All Staff: Everyone with CRM access, including future hires
- Individual: Select specific team members
Optionally, send email notifications to the assigned followers when the Deal is created.
Once saved, you’ll return to the Deals list. Click any Deal row to open its detail view, where you can see all associated information and interaction history.
From the detail view, you can quickly change the Stage, mark the Deal as Won or Lost, and review your complete interaction History.
Tracking Your Deals
Tip: Switch to Stage View if you need to modify stages (see below).
By default, CRM > Deals opens in List View, showing Contacts as the main focus with a layout similar to CRM > Contacts.
Card View prioritizes the Deal title instead. Click the corresponding view icon to switch between them.
In both views, click the action icon next to each Deal to View, Edit, Delete, or manage Automations.
Stage View organizes Deals into columns by stage, similar to a Kanban board. Drag and drop cards between columns to update a Deal’s stage instantly.

Forecast View displays columns for each month and projects your revenue potential based on Deal stages and their probabilities.
Customizing Stages
Open Stage View and click the edit icon.
In Stage Edit Mode, you can:
- Drag stages left or right to reorder the progression
- Rename a stage by editing the Title field
- Add a new stage by clicking the icon while hovering over an existing stage
- Remove a stage with the Delete option
Toggle Deal Probability on to add a probability percentage to each stage. This refines the Expected Value calculation—typically, stages closer to closing should have higher probability scores.
Winning or Losing a Deal
The Won or Lost status indicates whether a Deal succeeded or failed. You can set this status from any stage at any time.
Open the Deals Detail View and look for the status options in the top right corner.
By default, marking a Deal as Won calculates the closed value based on the current stage and/or probability. Click the edit icon to manually override this value.
Tip: Deals don’t need to progress through every stage before winning. Stages primarily help estimate the likelihood of success.
Exporting Deals
The export feature lets you download Deal information as a CSV file.
Click the Export button and toggle the data fields you want to include.
You can also drag the field list to reorder columns. When ready, click Download to save the file.
