FILES: File Attachments
Learn where to use file attachments in Unificus and how to download multiple files as ZIP.
Where can I use File Attachments?
Invoices, Estimates, & Proposals - You can easily attach files to Estimates, Invoices, or Proposals from your admin dashboard. Clients then have instant access to view and download these materials. When convertible documents like Estimates, Proposals, and Work Requests move to a new entity, all attached files transfer automatically to keep everything organized.

Email Campaigns & Drip Sequences - While many email providers restrict file sizes, Unificus offers a smart workaround. When files are included in outgoing emails, they’re attached as usual, plus we generate direct download links that appear in the email footer so recipients can easily grab them.

Secure Messaging - You can attach one or multiple files to your Secure Messages. Recipients see the files right in the message thread and can preview or download them. If your account has “Convenience Mode” enabled, files also arrive through email notification. Just like with email campaigns, Unificus creates download links in the email footer to work around email provider file-size limits.

File Upload Notifications - When you or a contact uploads files to a Shared Folder, Project Files, or Client Files, you can set up automatic attachments to email notifications (provided email notifications are turned on).

Can I download files as a ZIP file?
When 5+ files are attached to any entity—Estimate, Invoice, Proposal, Document, Message, and more—Unificus automatically bundles them into a single ZIP file. This saves your recipients from downloading each file separately; they get one convenient package that extracts into a neatly organized folder.
Coming soon: ZIP file functionality applied also to the email notification attachments.
