FILES: File Settings
Configure global file preferences including sharing, attachments, and access permissions.
General Settings for Files
Establish system-wide preferences for your file management. Go to Files, then select the gear icon located at the top left of your screen.
A settings panel will appear with various configuration options for your Files.
File Sharing Capabilities
Control who gets notified when a Contact uploads a file. When files are added to a Contact’s Shared folder or a general Shared Folder, you can choose to be prompted about sending notifications. Picking Always Send or Never Send will skip the confirmation dialog.
File Attachment Settings
Choose whether uploaded files should be included as attachments in notification emails. When you or a Contact uploads a file to a Shared Folder, Project Files, or Client Files, you can enable automatic attachment to the resulting Email Notification. Note that Email notifications must be active for file attachment settings to work.
File Management Settings
For both Client and Prospect accounts, configure who can edit Files and Folders and what actions they’re allowed to perform.
