MESSAGING: File Attachments

Share documents securely in Unificus messages with drag-and-drop file uploads.

Adding Files to Your Messages

Secure Messaging in Unificus lets you include document attachments in new messages and replies. This capability is available to all Staff and Contact users with Portal and Secure Messaging access.

When you compose or respond to a message, you’ll find an upload field where you can either drag files directly onto your screen or use the “Select Files” button to choose documents from your device.

How Recipients See Your Attachments

Once a file attachment reaches its destination through Secure Messaging, a paperclip symbol appears beside the subject line in the message inbox.

When someone opens the message, they’ll notice a banner at the top displaying a “View Attached Files” button along with a count of how many files are included.

Selecting the “View Attached Files” button reveals all attached documents. Recipients have two download options: they can get individual files by clicking the download icon next to each one, or retrieve everything at once using the download button at the bottom.
