Email Templates

Customize email content and subjects sent from Unificus using dynamic placeholders.

Can I customize the content of emails sent?

Absolutely! Most messages from the platform allow you to adjust both the subject line and message body.

The placeholders [company:name], [Subject:Company], [From-Name], and [From-Email] pull information directly from your Company Settings.

Important: Avoid deleting critical placeholders like [log-in], [project-title], or [user:one-time-login-url]. These contain dynamically generated links necessary for platform functionality.

How do I get started?

Head to Flyout Menu > Email Templates.

Templates are organized by platform section through the left-side menu.

Select Appointments to see all emails in that category.

When you select a template, it displays in the viewing pane. To prevent sending it to your Targets, toggle the checkbox in the top right to disable it.

To edit a template, add your text and dynamic placeholders. Available placeholders for each section appear at the top—click any placeholder to copy it, then paste it where needed.

The From Name and From Email fields reflect your Email Branding settings and are read-only here.

Modify the Subject line and Body using the WYSIWYG editor on the left. A message preview displays on the right.

The preview shows only placeholders—actual data appears when the email reaches a recipient.

Select Reset to default to restore the original template.

Enter an email address to send yourself a test. Click the arrow to choose your email or a colleague’s.

Important: Test emails display placeholders only, since there’s no reference data available. We suggest creating a Test Client to validate these emails properly.
