FLOW Steps Breakdown

Learn how each FLOW Step functions and how to configure them in Unificus.

Understanding FLOW Steps

FLOWs are automated sequences built from individual FLOW Steps.

Each Step functions as its own section within a FLOW with distinct capabilities. All Steps support custom content through a standard WYSIWYG editor, and you can insert Placeholders using the {x} icon.

You can designate Steps as required or optional by toggling ‘Allow this Step to be skipped’. When a Step is skipped, it’s marked complete and any linked Automations will execute.

Choose from these available Step types:

Read & eSign

This Step displays a page featuring an eSign Signature Pad.

Select Edit content for user to Read & eSign to customize the Step page content, which displays above the signature area. A standard WYSIWYG editor modal appears.

Custom Confirmation Message: Text appearing above the Name field and Signature Pad.

IMPORTANT: The {{ signatureText }} Placeholder automatically populates with the Contact’s typed name. Omitting this Placeholder means their name won’t display in the message.

What the Contact sees

Contacts must enter their name to sign, or they can select the Sign tab and draw their signature. After completion, the Read & Sign Document and Audit Trail become available in Office>Documents.

If optional, toggle ‘Allow this FLOW step to be skipped’.
