Dynamic Dashboards
Learn to build and customize flexible dashboards in Unificus using the Content Block Editor.
What are Dynamic Dashboards?
Your dashboards leverage the intuitive Content Block Editor combined with adaptable dynamic capabilities. This flexible system supports ongoing feature development, including new blocks that expand dashboard functionality.
How do I customize my Dynamic Dashboard?
Create as many dashboards as you need, each tailored to different purposes. Start by navigating to Content > Dashboards in the left sidebar.
You’ll see your dashboard list. Two dashboards appear by default: one Fallback for Staff and Contacts, and another for Super Admins.
Understanding Fallback Dashboards
A Fallback Dashboard displays for Contacts and Staff upon login when no other dashboard has been assigned to them. If left unmodified, it shows a default layout.
Only Super Admins can view the Super Admin Fallback Dashboard, which provides helpful setup resources for your Unificus account.
Fallback Dashboards cannot be removed, though you may edit them.
Adding a New Dashboard
Click + ADD NEW to build a fresh dashboard. Under Dashboard Settings, enter a Title first.
Next, set the priority level. Assigning a dashboard as Highest Priority makes it the default view for that user, overriding other dashboard assignments from Circles, Teams, or Roles.
Then assign Medium Priority users via Circles or Teams. This dashboard displays when the user lacks a direct (High Priority) assignment.
Finally, configure the Lowest Priority Dashboard, which is role-based and shows only if the user has neither Medium nor Highest Priority dashboards. Click Save to apply these settings.
You’re prepared to design your dashboard.
