PAGES: Portal Page Templates

Learn to create, save, and apply reusable page templates in Unificus.

What is a Portal Page Template?

A Portal Page Template serves as a pre-built foundation with ready-made content that you can use when building a new Portal Page. Instead of constructing pages from the ground up, you can apply a template and customize it to fit your specific requirements.

Your selected editor preference (Article Style or Content Block Editor) will automatically carry over when you create or apply a template, allowing you to edit your Portal Page normally afterward.

How do I create a Portal Page Template?

Head to Content > Portal Pages > Manage Templates and select the +Add Template button.

You’ll be asked to provide a name for your new Portal Page Template.

Template creation works the same way as building a regular Portal Page, except you won’t assign it to specific users. Choose your preferred editor to unlock additional configuration settings.

How do I apply my Portal Page Template?

When you’re creating or updating a Portal Page, look for a tab on the right side of your screen featuring the icon below.

A dialog box will open showing a preview. Use the dropdown menu at the top to select your desired Portal Page Template.

After you apply it, you can make any edits to the Portal Page as you normally would.
