Add bot protection to your Unificus forms using reCAPTCHA or hCaptcha verification.

Understanding Bot Protection

Bot protection is a security feature you can integrate into your Kickoff Forms, Update Forms, and General Forms to defend against automated attacks and unwanted submissions.

The user experience is straightforward—visitors simply click a checkbox to verify they’re human. You can add this protection through an Advanced Block when designing your forms.

Note: These options only display in Form Advanced Blocks after you’ve set up a Custom URL and linked your chosen verification service via Flyout > Integrations.


Setting Up Your Verification Service

Two free options are available—you can implement one at a time in your forms.

Google reCAPTCHA v2

This service requires a Google account to get started.

During setup, make sure you select reCAPTCHA v2.

Adding Bot Protection to Your Forms

Start by going to Forms and selecting the +Create Form button. Pick the form type that suits your needs.

Learn more about form types

Locate the Advanced Blocks dropdown and choose CAPTCHA.

Expand the block by clicking its icon. If you’ve connected both services, you can select either one.

Dark Mode: Choose this if your form uses a dark color scheme.

Compact Layout: Use this option when space is limited in your form layout.
