What is Google Meet?
Google Meet is Google’s video conferencing platform, perfect for hosting virtual meetings with audio and video capabilities. You can use camera and microphone together for video calls, or enable just audio for phone-style conversations. It works well for individuals and organizations alike.
With Unificus, you can set up an integration that automatically generates a Google Meet meeting whenever an appointment is scheduled. While you’ll need a Google account to use this feature, your contacts do not.

How to integrate Google Meet into your account
Start by accessing Flyout Menu > Integrations.
Locate the Google Calendar section and confirm you’re signed in and connected.

Once connected, the status will change to reflect your Google Meet readiness for appointments.
Setting up Google Meet for your appointments
First, ensure you have at least one Appointment Type configured.

Go to Calendar > Appointment Generators.
Find your desired Appointment Generator and select Options (the three-dot menu), then choose Auto-Create Meeting.
In the Meeting Provider dropdown, select Google Meet.
The system will display the email linked to your Google Calendar integration. To adjust settings, click Update Connected Calendar Settings. Otherwise, click Save to confirm.
What contacts experience
When an appointment is created, both parties receive an email with the Google Meet link.

Contacts can also access the link directly within Unificus by selecting the appointment from their calendar.
What staff members see
Staff receive the same appointment email with the Google Meet link as contacts.

Staff can open the link through the platform calendar view by clicking on an appointment.
When viewing the appointment in Google Calendar, staff will see a Join with Google Meet button for quick access to the meeting. This button appears exclusively on the staff side.
