Public Pages: Error Pages
Configure and customize error pages displayed to users when content is unavailable or access is denied.
What is an Error Page?
When a visitor tries to access content that cannot be loaded—whether due to technical issues or insufficient permissions—an Error Page displays instead. This ensures users receive clear feedback about what happened.
Can I Customize the Error Pages?
Absolutely. Unificus provides two customizable error pages:
- 404 Error Page — shown when content cannot be found
- Permission Error Page — shown when access is restricted
Accessing Error Pages
Navigate to Content > Landing Pages to manage these pages.
To modify a page, select the three-dot menu next to it and choose Edit.
404 Error Page — Default Components
Both Contents and Staff members may encounter this page. By default, it includes an Image block, Text block, and Button block.
Click within any block to access its settings. Use the Pencil icon to edit or the X icon to remove.
Recommendation: Keep the placeholder content and button active. The button’s link directs users back to their Dashboard to continue using Unificus.
Permission Error Page — Default Components
Staff viewing this page while impersonating a restricted user will see this error. The page comes with a default Image block that you can replace, delete, or supplement with additional blocks. Select the block’s center to view options.

How do I preview the Page?
Click the Preview icon to see how your page appears.
A preview window opens with responsive design options—switch between Desktop, Tablet, and Mobile views.
How do I configure Styling Options?
Click the Palette icon to access styling controls.
Change or Hide the Content Card
The Content Card is the background container for your content (typically white by default).
Completely Hide the Content Card — removes the border around content.
Customize Content Card colors — adjust text and background colors independently using the Color Picker.
Modify the Primary Background
The Primary Background is the overall page background (gray by default). Three options are available:
Change the color — select a shade from the Color Picker; combine with a pattern overlay if desired.
Use a background image — upload a custom image via File Uploader instead of a solid color.
Add a texture or pattern overlay — layer patterns over your background color or image, with adjustable color and opacity settings.
Custom CSS and JavaScript
Advanced users can input Custom CSS or Custom JS to further refine the page’s appearance and behavior.
Note: Styling changes won’t display in the editor. Use Preview Mode to see updates.
How do I configure Font Themes?
Click the Font icon to manage typography.
Google Fonts integration lets you browse, select, and apply typefaces along with their available font weights and styles.
Note: Font changes appear only in Preview Mode, not the editor.
