Official Translators

Get started as an Official Translator and learn how to submit and vote on translations.

Getting Started as an Official Translator

Thank you for volunteering to help translate Unificus into your language! We truly appreciate your efforts.

Once we assign you a language on our end, we’ll activate your Official Translator (OT) Dashboard. To begin, go to Flyout Menu > Translations (beta).

You’ll need to enable the translation feature first. CLICK HERE to learn more about Translations for all users.

How Your OT Dashboard Works

Your dashboard includes a built-in voting system to help determine the best translations. Here’s what happens:

  • When you submit a translated string, it counts as both your contribution and your vote for that translation.
  • If another Official Translator has already suggested a translation, you can upvote their submission instead of creating your own.

Voting on Translations

Each translation field has two icons on the right side:

  • The #1 medal icon shows the current best-voted translation for that string.

Click the icon to see all available translations. Use the “thumbs up” button to vote for the translation you think is best.

If you want to provide a new translation, click the Redo icon. The field will open for editing, and you’ll see other translation options in case you’d prefer to upvote one instead.

We’ll notify you when new strings are ready to translate.

Important: Placeholders Cannot Be Translated

Do not translate words inside curly brackets—for example, {CLIENT}. These are system placeholders that auto-populate the correct terms from the “Roles” group. Translating them will cause them to malfunction.
