CRM: Create a Test Client

Set up a test client account in Unificus to preview the client experience.

Creating a Test Client

You’ll need a distinct email address for testing. Consider using a spare email account you have available, or try the Google ‘unique email’ trick if you’re familiar with it.

Go to CRM > Contacts and select the +Add Contact button.

For test purposes, assign the Client role. We recommend enabling the Portal Access Invitation right away to expedite setup.

Only these fields are mandatory to complete. The example below demonstrates the Gmail/G Suite workaround:

You (or your test client) will get an activation message. If you’re already logged in, open the activation link using “Incognito” or “Private” mode—right-click the link and choose Open link in incognito window (Chrome), Open link in private window (Firefox), or the equivalent in your browser. Note: Two active sessions in the same browser aren’t supported.

Finish activation by creating a password.

You’re ready to explore! Try building Client pages, uploading Files, generating Invoices, and more to see how Clients will interact with Unificus.
