What are Support Ticket Inboxes?
Inboxes provide a way to categorize incoming support requests within Unificus. Create buckets for different request types—such as Billing, Development, General, or Support Levels 1-3—based on what works best for your team. You have complete control over designing an inbox structure that matches your specific business needs.
How do I create and manage Inboxes in Support Tickets?
Access inbox settings by going to Support in the left menu to open the Support Ticket toolkit.
From there, you have two options:
- Select the three-dot menu next to your Support Title on the left sidebar and choose Manage Inboxes
- Click the Filter icon in the right menu
How do I create a new Inbox?
Method 1: Click the plus (+) icon in the Inbox menu.
Method 2: Click the Filter icon on the right side.
Enter a name for your Inbox and select an icon from the dropdown by clicking the Filter icon.
Organizing Your Inboxes
Access Manage Inboxes by clicking the three dots in the left Inbox menu or the Filter icon on the right.
Reorder Inboxes: Drag and drop inboxes by holding their icons to arrange them in your preferred sequence.
Edit an Inbox: Click the Inbox name, then click the pencil icon to modify its settings.
Remove an Inbox: Select the Inbox and click the trash bin icon to delete it. (Note: the default “Everything” Inbox cannot be deleted.)
Confirm deletion by clicking OK in the confirmation dialog.
Why can’t I remove the Everything Inbox?
The “Everything” Inbox is a system-level container that captures all tickets in your portal, regardless of their assigned inbox status. While you can rename and reorder this inbox, it cannot be removed.
How do I assign a Ticket to an Inbox?
Open the ticket by clicking on it to view its full details.
At the top of the ticket view, select the Filter icon to display available inboxes.
Choose an inbox to assign the ticket to it.
Note: Each ticket can only be assigned to one inbox at a time.
How do I delete Support Tickets from an Inbox?
Click the Multi Select button at the top of the page to enable bulk actions.
Checkboxes will appear to the left of each ticket. You can select all tickets by clicking the top checkbox, or check individual tickets as needed.
Once you’ve selected one or more tickets, click Delete in the top right.
