Project Notification Settings

Configure your personal or team-wide notification preferences for projects and tasks.

Setting Up Your Notification Preferences

To access your notification settings, go to Projects > Settings and select Notification Preferences from the left menu.

You have two options: customize settings just for yourself, or establish defaults for all team members in your environment.

Personalizing Your Own Notification Settings

Adjust your preferences directly on the Notification Preferences page to control which emails you receive.

This area lets you manage email alerts related to your assigned Projects and Tasks. Each person on your platform can personalize these settings independently.

Digest and Outlook emails are automated messages sent on a schedule—daily or weekly—that summarize activity and upcoming deadlines:

  • Digest Emails: A recap of activities that have already occurred. You can choose which event types to include.
  • Outlook Emails: A preview of upcoming Project and Task deadlines.

When finished, click Update All Settings to save your changes.

Managing Notification Settings for Your Team

You can also set notification preferences for other users based on their assigned Role.

At the bottom of the page, select Update Staff/Contacts Settings. A popup will appear where you can choose a Role from the dropdown.

By default, new settings apply only to future users and won’t change existing user settings.

Enable Override existing settings if you want the new preferences applied to all current users with that Role.
