Zapier Integration
Connect Unificus with 5,000+ apps using Zapier to automate workflows without coding.
What is Zapier?
Zapier is a web-based automation platform that links your applications together. Create custom workflows to move data between apps automatically, eliminating repetitive manual tasks—no coding knowledge required. With just a few clicks, anyone can build app integrations and focus on what matters most.
Getting Started with Zapier
Begin by accessing Flyout Menu > Integrations.
Locate the Zapier section and select the Use our Zapier integration button.
This takes you to the Unificus listing on the Zapier website.
Building Your First Zap
Decide how you want to structure your Zap. Every Zap contains a Trigger (what starts the workflow) and an Action (what happens next). The page displays all available Triggers and Actions.
When ready, click Connect Unificus to 5,000+ apps.
Start with a basic Zap using Unificus as your Trigger. Give your Zap a name.
Click the Event dropdown to select your trigger. For this walkthrough, we’ll use New Contact, then click Continue.
You’ll be asked to sign in to your Unificus account. A dialog will display fields for Token and User ID.
A dialog will appear requesting your Token and User ID.
Return to the Integrations page in Unificus to find and copy these credentials.
Your account is now connected! Select it anytime from the dropdown to build new Zaps. Click Continue.
Zapier will Test the Trigger. You’ll need an existing Contact in Unificus for this test.
Once Zapier locates your Contact, you can proceed with Zap setup.
Select the app to pair with Unificus. In this example, we’re using Scoro.
Choose Create or Update Person, then click Continue.
Map the required fields with appropriate values. When transferring Unificus data to Scoro, only First Name and Last Name are mandatory.
Zapier runs a verification test. Once successful, Publish your Zap!
This setup automatically generates a Person in Scoro whenever you create a Contact in Unificus.
Creating Companies via Zapier
Because of how Companies function in Unificus, Company creation in Zapier requires an additional configuration step.
Here’s how to build a Zap that adds a new Primary Contact + Company in Unificus when a Person + Organization is created in Pipedrive.
Set Pipedrive as your Trigger app and select New Person. On first use, test the trigger to confirm Zapier retrieves the correct Pipedrive data.
Set Unificus as your Action app and select Create Contact.
Fill in Role, First Name, Last Name, and Primary Email with the appropriate values.
Since Pipedrive combines names in a single field, you’ll need to assign values manually.
Although Company isn’t required, input the data through the Custom tab and set the “Org Name” value.
Ensure the Create Company If No Exact Match field is set to True.
Zapier performs a test. When successful, view the new Contact under CRM > Contacts…
…and the new Company under CRM > Companies!
