Zoom Integration for Appointments

Connect Zoom to Unificus to automatically generate video meeting links when appointments are booked.

What is Zoom?

Zoom is a cloud-based video conferencing platform that enables you to establish virtual meeting spaces for conferences, webinars, and team collaboration.

By integrating Zoom with Unificus, meeting links are automatically generated whenever an appointment is scheduled. You’ll need an active Zoom account to enable this feature, though your contacts do not require one.

About My Portal App

My Portal App is our Integrations Microservice. To ensure our integration setup remains as white-label as possible, we built a secure microservice architecture that operates transparently. During authentication, you’ll see the generic “My Portal App” name, but all data flows securely through our integration infrastructure.

Rest assured—My Portal App is completely secure and trustworthy. This approach helps us go above and beyond protecting your brand.

How to Connect Zoom to Your Account

  1. Open the Flyout Menu and select Integrations.
  1. In the Zoom section, click Connect Zoom account.
  1. Log in using your Zoom credentials.
  1. Review the permission requirements and click Authorize.
  1. You’ll return to the Integrations page. Your connected account now displays a Disconnect button if you need to disable the integration later.

Setting Up Zoom for Your Appointments

You must have at least one Appointment Generator configured before using this integration.

Learn about Appointment Generators

  1. Go to Calendar > Appointment Generators.
  1. Click the Options menu (three dots) next to your chosen Appointment Generator and select Auto-Create Meeting.
  1. Under “Choose Meeting Provider,” select Zoom from the dropdown.
  1. Configure these optional settings:
  • Enable join before host: Lets participants enter the meeting before you arrive or if you’re unavailable. When disabled, attendees see “The meeting is waiting for the host to join.”

  • Use Personal Meeting ID to create meetings: Uses a permanent virtual room with the same Meeting ID each time. Attendees can join whenever it’s active unless you’ve enabled a Waiting Room. Learn more.

  • Start meeting without video: Turns off video by default for all attendees.

  1. Click Save and you’re ready to go.

What Your Contacts Experience

When an appointment is created, both you and the contact receive an email with the Zoom meeting link included.

Contacts can also access the link anytime by viewing the appointment in their Calendar within the platform.
