CRM: Company & Contact Bulk Edit
Update multiple contacts or companies at once using bulk edit features.
What is Bulk Edit?
Bulk Edit enables you to modify the same data field across multiple Contacts or Companies simultaneously, saving time when managing large groups of records.
How do I use Bulk Edit?
Start by navigating to either the CRM > Contact list or CRM > Companies list.
Selecting Records
The Bulk Edit feature allows you to:
- Choose individual Contacts or Companies using checkboxes
- Select entire Circles at once using the Circles selector
- Apply filters to narrow down which records appear
Once you’ve made your selections, click the Bulk Edit button to access the editing options.
Editing Companies
When working in CRM > Companies, you can modify:
- All applicable Custom Fields (both Public and Private)
- Coordinator assignments
- Salesperson assignments
Editing Contacts
In CRM > Contacts, your options include:
- All applicable Custom Fields
- Coordinator assignments
- Salesperson assignments
- Individual Mode Visibility settings
To adjust Individual Mode Visibility, toggle Bulk Modify ‘Individual Mode’ Visibility. This reveals the option to Prevent the Primary Contact from switching into ‘Individual Mode’.

Clearing Field Values
If you need to remove a value from a Custom Field during bulk editing, check the Empty Value checkbox next to that field.
Saving Your Changes
Review your configuration carefully, then scroll down and click Save.
Note: When bulk editing large groups of records, Unificus processes the request in the background. You’ll receive an email notification and system alert once the update completes.
