Controlling Messaging Access for Prospects and Clients
Admins can restrict which staff members prospects and clients are able to contact via messages.
Can I control who my contacts can message?
Absolutely! If you have Admin permissions, you’re able to manage messaging restrictions through the Settings option in your Messaging area.
Once you access the Settings menu, you’ll find a feature called Designate Staff to whom Contacts can Message.
Default messaging permissions
Out of the box, your Prospects and Clients have the ability to send messages to any Admin, Project Manager, or Office Manager on your team.
Customizing message recipients
When you enable the designation feature, the default open-access permission is replaced with a more controlled setup. You’ll then specify exactly which Staff Members each Prospect or Client group is permitted to contact.
This approach lets you pair specific Contacts with the Staff members they should be able to reach, giving you precise control over your messaging workflow.
